Around 16:30 Garden City (Sta. 65) was dispatched to cover Lima (Sta. 69) while they operated on a working building fire on Glen Riddle Rd. Ladder 65 responded under the direction of Chief Joe Lombardo (65-9). Ladder 65 wasn’t at Sta. 69 for more than 15 minutes before Glen Riddle rd command requested the township covers to the scene. Once on location, crews reported to the man power pool located in front of 50-3. One crew from 65-5 was assigned to assist with ventilation, by cutting a second hole in the roof on side "A". Crews cut a 4 by 4 hole in the roof and reported back to the man power pool. Mean while the second crew was assisting Sharon Hill (Sta. 09) to try to extinguish the stubborn fire on the first floor.
