Around 2:30 P.M. Garden City (Sta. 65), South Media (Sta. 51), and Parkside (Sta. 45) for the Ambulance were dispatched to Brookhaven Rd. and Waterville Rd. for the Accident with injuries. Chief Joe Lombardo (65-9) was on location first and reported a Vehicle versus a pole with the pole cracked in half and the wires and pole burning. 65-2 responded under the direction of Assistant Chief Brent Hopkins (65-9B) and was ordered to stop short of the accident and block traffic. Rescue 51 responded to Brookhaven and Waterville to block traffic there. Units remained on scene until barriers were brought by the Highway Dept. Units cleared in under an hour.
